Has anyone had success using the method described here http://www.debian.org/releases/stable/i386/ch04s03.html.en (Section 4.3.2) using a DVD .iso image? The manual lists CD image but not DVD (Section 4.3.2.2), maybe I'm over analyzing it. I'm debating purchasing a new 8 GB or greater usb memory stick for installation on friend's/family machines; some may not have internet access so I'd like to use the DVD image instead of the CD. I'd like to know if others have had success before buying the memory stick and downloading the DVD .iso.
