I used to think standard batteries were a better idea too, but they don't perform anywhere near as well as the L-ion flat ones most cameras now use. The rechargeeables, both NiCad and NiMH, are a good idea in principle, but lose charge when not in use and become ineffective surprisingly quickly in my experience. I was in Budapest last week with a friend who had to buy new AAs for his camera. An hour later they were flat, but my camera's L-ion battery lasted a full day. richard -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
