OK, I have attempted the setup below with issues. http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/emcinfo.pl?Debian_Etch_Server_And_Diskless_EMC2_Thin_Clients
Firstly I set it all up without DHCP as I already have a DHCP server on my network, but the diskless client fails to get an IP from my existing server so I assume there is some more to this than meets the eye. If I setup the DHCP server as suggested will (could) it interfere with my existing DHCP server? All clients on my network use DHCP and my network only has 1 segment/subnet. The server is Etch Any comments would be helpful Regards Fred -----Original Message----- From: "Umarzuki Mochlis" <umarz...@gmail.com> To: debian-user@lists.debian.org Date: Sat, 17 Jan 2009 12:44:05 +0800 Subject: Re: Thin clients > By deb R4.0, did you meant Etch?
