I got mine on a Friday night and was up and running with my own domain by Saturday morning. registered the domain at www.dyndns.com ordered my linode and was serving within 12hrs from the time I started the process. I was really mad at one of my isp's about a mail snafu I won't mention the name (it would be clear it's wireless) if I did ;-) oh yeah that 12 hrs included some sleep. Anyhoo good luck. this list(and the list archives and debian in general) helped me quite a bit. <btw> here's output from the console - uname -a && cat /etc/issue.net && uptime Linux *** 2.6.18.8-linode10 #2 SMP Sat Jul 19 20:24:32 EDT 2008 i686 GNU/Linux Debian GNU/Linux 4.0 04:24:40 up 22 days, 19:51, 1 user, load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
