Describe your understanding of "worked".  Have you set VERBOSE=yes in
your .procmailrc?  What's the log file say happened?

These may be useful:

  PMDIR        = $HOME/procmail
  LOGFILE      = $PMDIR/log
  LOGABSTRACT  = yes
