I can understand why I get that page. What appals me is that they are
basically saying "You have to be running Windows to access this site."
Chances are they use ActiveX Objects.

That cannot be the reason. I accessed the first link using firefox with
the default browser identification and ended up here :
https://www.sunnet.sunlife.com/member/signin/index.asp
the actual login page.
And I'm certainly not in Canada. The site doesnt seem to be using
activex objects but its using java sripts.
