and it was 16 bits. I once held the Z80000 (which was the
32 bit "compatible" with the Z8000) in my hand. Only a very few
were ever made.
Anyway, the Z8000 came in two flavors: Z8001 and Z8002, the first
was segmented and could address 8MB, the second was a straight
16 bit machine with 16 bit address bus.
