No it would not since you have to setup: set folder=imaps://localhost mailboxes =INBOX \ =INBOX.IN-debian-user \ ... You need to creatre a small BASH/Perl/Python/Whatelse-Script to generate the list. Yes, but you should not use more then 50 "mailboxes" to poll. Oterwise you can give you a shoot while mutt is checking the Mailboxes for new messages. I have 5800 Mailfolder and must check 180 of them permanently... Now I run 6 instances of mutt parallel with different "mailboxes" settings.
