Hi list, A small annoyance: for a few months now, my etch box stops booting at a particular point, whereupon I must hit return, and it then completes. I am not entirely sure, but I think that the last change I made was to install insserv, the parallel booting service.
The last messages displayed when the boot stops are usually: [........] Jan 25 20:18:42 tpad kernel: ACPI: AC Adapter [AC] (on-line) Jan 25 20:18:42 tpad kernel: ACPI: CPU0 (power states: C1[C1] C2[C2] C3[C3]) Jan 25 20:18:42 tpad kernel: ACPI: Processor [CPU] (supports 8 throttling states) Jan 25 20:18:42 tpad kernel: Time: acpi_pm clocksource has been installed. Does anyone know how I might go about diagnosing this further? Regards, John -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
