See <http://rockbox.org/>. Every player supported by Rockbox can play Ogg Vorbis and many other formats. I have an iriver H120 myself (not available anymore, I suppose). > I'm doing enough of these that I'd like to have as little user > interaction as possible -- just shove in the cd, have it > automatically rip to a specifed location, then eject and on to the > next one. has anyone done anything of this kind before? any > suggestions? I ripped about fifty CDs with abcde. This works quite fast if you use two drives in parallel. And if you want, abcde can encode to several formats at once. I encoded to Ogg for my mobile player and to FLAC for backup purposes. J. -- I no longer believe in father christmas but have no trouble comprehending a nuclear apocalypse.
