When you do apt-get --help, at the bottom you are told: "This APT has Super Cow Powers." But aptitude says: "This aptitude does not have Super Cow Powers." I thought that was a cute little way of saying that apt-get was "more advanced," and thus would be preferable. This: http://www.eeggs.com/items/36008.html supports the "more advanced" theory, in that apt-get can do dist-upgrades. Can aptitude as well? Even if it is geek humor, why does one have super cow powers and not the other? j -- Joshua Kugler Lead System Admin -- Senior Programmer http://www.eeinternet.com PGP Key: http://pgp.mit.edu/ ID 0xDB26D7CE PO Box 80086 -- Fairbanks, AK 99708 -- Ph: 907-456-5581 Fax: 907-456-3111 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
