It worked, sort of. Thanks to all for the advice, including the kind I didn't listen to. The dual boot stet up fine. However, during the Debian install, I accidently skipped over the part to install the desktop environment, print server, etc. When all was complete I was left with a prompt. Not what I was hoping for. Is there a way to install the desktop environment with doing a whole re-install.
