I keep coming back to (for data CDs) is gcombust because it's just so damn quick and easy. Select the files, disable dummy mode and burn away. For audio CDs tho, I usually end up using cdrdao, a commandline program that works quite well. I'm not sure why, but cdrecord (and all the programs that use) seems to be unable to write audio CDs anymore.

I think it's easy to use (but I guess I'm biased;), but since you seem to have your heart set on a GUI program it's a bit of a moot point. -rob
