I decided to go to 'testing', so edited my sources.list, did 'apt-get update', 'apt-get dist-upgrade' which, after installing lots of packages, bailed with the following error:
Errors were encountered while processing: /var/cache/apt/archives/gdk-imlib-dev_1.9.14-6_i386.deb E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) So, how badly hosed is my system, and what do I need to do to complete the upgrade?
