Hi,

I'm a woody user and I'm having problems with the ISO8859-1 charset,
characters like áéíóúçàèèìòù doesn't work in many programs, specially
gnome programs. Follow a list of programs that have this problem:

- Evolution:
When you use one of these chars in the "File as" field of a contact and
modifies any information of the contact in the place of the char many
special chars appears.

- Gnumeric:
When I use these char in a cell, the content after and including this
char won't appear in the sheet, but it appears in the input box at the
top of the window.

- Gnucash:
I know it's not on woody, but i installed it anyway. But the problem is
similar to gnumeric's. When you use these chars, the name is truncked in
the reports.

Has anyone seen this problem? Has anyone found a workaround?
