        The creation of boot floppies is not dropped for regular
 kernel images. However, if you are using an initrd, then the
 simplistic method used in the post inst to create a bootable floppy
 does not work (we probably would run out of space, and dealing with
 that is beyond the scope of a mere post installation scipt).

        I never use initrd images (I know my hardware, and see no
 benefits from being able to select from multitudes of fs modules and
 scsi modules), and thus this has not reached the level of irritation
 for me to do something about it.

        As always, tested patches are welcome.
