No I was going to download it on another machine and then install it on the IBM. I have 2.2rc3 that I got from a friend, but I was unclear on the cd-rom install part.

Sorry for the confusion, and thanks for the help!

For SCSI CD-ROM you need the SCSI driver installed for correct adapter.
So you want to install Debian on the IBM from CD? Or burn a CD on
the IMB in Debian? or ?....
