I like Mandrake for being smooth, and up-to-date. I *hate* Mandrake for being RPM-based: after a certain point, you fall so far behind, even when applying updates, that you have to upgrade to the latest version of the product. And let me tell you: upgrading Mandrake is a Perilous Journey.
