before even attempting to compile the debian drivers, you need to be sure you have XFree86 v4 installed/working on your system. Debian 2.2 does not include XFree86 v4. You may be able to find a 3rd party source that has .debs, there used to be one a couple years ago but I couldn't find it last I checked. test the card with the 'nv' driver once X is configured, THEN try to compile the nvidia drivers. chances are you probably have to(its best to anyways) upgrade to woody before attempting to use the nvidia card w/nvidia's drivers. and I think you have the linux kernel v2.2.19, not gcc. The oldest gcc I remember is 2.7.x and that was back in 1996-97. nate -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
