I don't know of any proper documentation addressing precisely that issue. I moved from Red Hat 6.2 to Debian over a year ago. It wasn't a difficult transition, really. Red Hat holds your hand more during the installation process, but if you know what you're doing (or can figure it out as you go), it's not much of a problem. Craig
