Recently, apt-get dist-upgrade has wanted to knock out lots of packages (37), while aptitude doesn't want to eliminate any.
aptitude's changes are much more extensive than apt-get upgrade's. Can anyone explain what accounts for these differences? P.S. Something seems a bit wrong that apt-get wants to knock out so many packages, but I haven't chased down what dependencies are doing this.
