According to http://www.dlink.com/products/usb/dsb500/SpecsTable.htm it is a UHCI USB controller. Both UHCI and OHCI USB controllers are supported, and I can say that I have a UHCI controller that I am using right now. D-Link's networking hardware (NICs and the switch I have) are good, and I certainly hope they didn't do anything dumb to make this USB controller not work. I just downloaded the driver from their site (win98 and win2k only) but I see the file "VIAUSB.SYS" in the zip file. I bet this card is based on a VIA chip. -D -- "...In the UNIX world, people tend to interpret `non-technical user' as meaning someone who's only ever written one device driver." --Daniel Pead
