Another strange thing:
The new driver (rtl8139) says it's an RTL8139C+ while the 2.4.14 kernel C+ driver says otherwise. 8139cp 10/100 PCI Ethernet driver v0.0.5 (Oct 19, 2001) 8139cp: pci dev 00:09.0 (id 10ec:8139 rev 10) is not an 8139C+ compatible chip 8139cp: Try the "8139too" driver instead. rtl8139.c:v1.16a 11/13/2001 Donald Becker, [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.scyld.com/network/rtl8139.html eth0: RealTek RTL8139C+, 64 bit high performance at 0xde00, IRQ 11, 00:00:1c:d0:fe:a0. (but this whole thing is getting OT, so this will be my last post about it ;-) Dries
