To get your wheel working, add this line to the 'Pointer' section of your XF86Config[-4]: ZAxisMapping 4 5 > Now when I use xdm / gdm / kdm the mouse doesn't work (just > jumps around on the screen). Hmmmm... It's weird that it works w/ startx... I'm guessing that you shouldn't be using gpmdata as you're protocol... have you tried IMPS/2?
