Can you recommend any good (not too expensive) quiet cases? I may build a computer soon to be my home grown PVR/DVD combo, and of course anything sitting in the living room on all the time needs to be quiet.

Over the years, I have been using power supplies from PC Power and Cooling ( http://www.pcpowercooling.com ). Their Silencer line is very
quiet. I have also used Enermax Whisper power supplies and these are
also very quiet. As for processor cooling, find something with a good
heat sink and a multispeed fan and adjust accordingly.
