Agga? IP aliasing? What's that? However, doesn't dnscache also use
/etc/hosts? If so, I wouldn't have a need for a complex DNS server
such as bind.

What do you mean with 'broken DNS entries on the intranet boxes'?
You have to apologize, but it's the first time I had to face with
those DNS stuff.
