I want to copy my root system from one hard disk to another to run on a separate machine. Is there an easy way to do this? I have a slink distribution cd-rom but I've upgraded to potato. After searching docs and faqs the best way I could determine to get potato on the other hard disk is to install from my cd and then upgrade over my hoggishly slow modem, and then I'll have to manually do all the fixes to configure it like my existing system. There must be a way just to transfer from the one hd to the other directly. Is there? How?
