Hi, I have no clue how the alternatives sytem works. May a hack directly into the /etc/alternatives directory? How is it managed? I like to have KDE2 and KDE3 installed at the same time. In debian thats a alternatives thing right? How can i realize that. I know how to lounch KDE3 thats not the problem i have made a script do handle the env data. But how is that lounched via the startx command?
