I downloaded xfree 4.1 from the above site using apt-get. I have enabled all the stuff for dri ( I am now on 2.4.9 kernel ). But still I get the following : (**) Option "dpms" (**) I810(0): DPMS enabled (==) I810(0): Direct rendering disabled ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Any ideas what am I missing ?
