I have an Athlon T-Bird 1 Ghz running on kernel 2.4.9 currently. I
have seen numerious posts saying 'do not use the Athlon enhancements'
but have never seen any 'enhancements' described. I have run that box
with kernels 2.4.4 tru 2.4.9 using the K7 Athlon processor setting
and have never had any problems what so ever.
