THE SAME thing happened on my sid box.  I finally got libc6 to install, but
I can't remember what I did.  I think I may have run dpkg --ignore-depends 
--configure.  

Anyway, it can be installed, but I don't know whether all is well.  I had some 
strange signal 11 segmentation faults causing X11 to shut down.
