This problem continues with libc6_2.2.3-8 and I can't install any more packages until I get it fixed. The date `Mon Jul 23 07:32:48 WST 2001' was a perfectly good date in this part of the world. I tried running the post-inst script as root after commenting out the "set -e" line, but that was not effective. I'd really appreciate some help in fixing this problem.
