Some of us have mailers that follow threads. Please when posting to the list, don't piggy-back off an existing email. Start your own thread by addressing to debian-user@lists.debian.org yourself. You will have to install the kernel yourself. You can do it the traditional way or use the tools debian has provided for the task.
