I think you'll find that they are more like firmware raid controllers, a bit better that software, but no where near real hardware controllers, but then again - there no where near the price either .. as always - you cant have everything the HighPoint one on my Abit board, is nice nice in windows, but i dont think linux can handle the raid yet, with it being closed source, but as an ide controller it seems fine -- Dean Liversidge [EMAIL PROTECTED]
