It looks to me like the Van Jacobson compression negotiation is messing things up. Try adding "novj" to your /etc/ppp/options file. If this doesn't do it, you could post your /etc/ppp/options file and your /etc/ppp/peers/<YourISP> file, and we can look for anything out of the ordinary. -- Kevin
