do you know sslwrap? it has *nothing* to do with the pop3 server other
than relaying network traffic -> it decodes ssl traffic coming in at
port 995 and forwards it to localhost:110, and it encodes anything
localhost:110 spits out and sends it out to the client. so all
interaction that sslwrap and spop3d ever have is through the POP3
protocol - and it's not the server that dies but the wrapper... and
only the POP3 wrapper because the IMAP wrapper is *never* used
(basically).
