I just compiled and installed a 2.4.4 kernel and it went like clockwork. No problems at all (touch wood). However, I am a little worried after reading this thread since I didn't change my /etc/lilo.conf at all and it doesn't have anything in it about initrd-2.4.4-686. Can someone explain what all this is about? Mark.
