I have also tried Ctl+Alt+Bksp and that will not work. This is not a constant problem, I can log on usually but it does happen a lot. I know that is a ambigious statement, but hard to explain. I have looked in the .Xsession error log after this happens and I can log on and do not see anything. Is there another log that I can look at to see if it identifies a problem?
