No, you don't. You need to reed some documentation on sensors, which
is a small utility to use whatever chipset you have - it can find out
about the modules to be loaded.

After the modules are loaded, there are additional entries in /proc,
where you can find the data. Additionally, sensors spits out these
values, too.
