Installation problems

I'm a beginner user of Linux and I've a problem during the installation of Debian 2.2r2. In fact I can't install Kernel and Modules because the program warn me that is impossible to create a Rescue Floppy or to load some drivers. How can I solve this problem? If the problem is the installation from CDs, how can I install from another source? Please, help me because I've no idea about Linux installation. Thank you very much! Gabriele (from Italy)
