   It sure does.  Run 'dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86' to reconfigure
X
   to support it.  You need the 'nv' driver.  There is plent of
   documentation detailing the rest of the setup, so go do it :)

   Yes, thanks, I've found that (and the relevant documentation) and now
   have a nice gdm opening screen, an important milestone. I've
   currently wading through getting my Microsoft Natural keyboard
   recognized, and likewise for my two mice (Microsoft PS/2 IntelliMouse
   and Logitech Optical Mouse). I've tried all the documented settings
   without effect
