I needed a long to get my PCI 128 to work! At first I also compiled the es1370 support to the kernel, but it doesn't worked at first! I think sox crashed with invalid buffer or something like that! Then I tried the ALSA driver, I created /dev files and tried to compile the driver and the library, but wasn't able to compile the library so I gave it up! So installed again the kernel with the es1370 support and suddenly the soundcard works! I don't really know why, but I think there was a problem with the /dev files. Maybe this helps you a little bit! > does anybody know if it's okay to compile in the kernel the es1370 > support for a CT4700 card? or am i just screwed with this sound card? It works, but I don't know why! Sorry for my english! Gerhard
