Its not wrong. Most English speakers pronounce Linus with a long i. Indeed, people like the scientest Linus Pauling were born and raised using a long i in their names and it would be harsh to tell them they had it wrong all the time. So the pronounciation of Linus and Linux is a question of accent. Finns say it one way; English speakers another; both are equally valid as would any other accent.
