Yes, I installed that one: h0rus:/tmp$ dpkg -l libqt1g Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge | Status=Not/Installed/Config-files/Unpacked/Failed-config/Half-installed |/ Err?=(none)/Hold/Reinst-required/X=both-problems (Status,Err: uppercase=bad) ||/ Name Version Description +++-===============-==============-============================================ ii libqt1g 1.44-6.4 Shared Library used by applications linked w The description is the one that corresponds to qt1g, but I installed licq 0.61-1, and if I try to configure it: h0rus:/tmp# dpkg --configure --pending dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of licq: licq depends on qt1g (>= 1.42-2); however: Package qt1g is not installed. dpkg: error processing licq (--configure): dependency problems - leaving unconfigured Errors were encountered while processing: licq I wonder if libqt1g won't be qt1g under a different name, and if changing the name won't sort it out. Now, I just see that in ../main/binary-i386/libs there's libqt2 2.0.2-0.5, and I can install licq 0.70.1a-1 instead of 0.61-1 but libqt2 depends on libz1, which I cannot trace! ...any idea?
