I thought I had configured the true-type font server a few weeks ago, but now I restarted X and all applications for which I don't specify a font are presented in a huge ugly font.
The output of xlsfont suggests that ttf are installed and visible. Anyone know what I'm talking about? How to fix it? I had to put this in ~/.Xdefualts to get sanity back: *font: -misc-fixed-medium-r-normal--13-100-100-100-c-70-iso8859-1 (Yeah, I know it's not a true type, but by default I don't want proportionnal fonts. Are there fixed TTF?) Thanks, -- Peter Galbraith, research scientist <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Maurice Lamontagne Institute, Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada P.O.
