this came up for me and took a while to figure out.. someone else on this list or perhaps a newgroup suggesting export QTDIR to the place where qt2 is installed.
i.e. "export QTDIR=/usr/lib/qt2" this should work as you sound like your in the same predicament as i was. cheers, - chris
