Howdy, I added a board with 4 serial ports to my PC. I can access the first two serial ports on that board but I do not succeed in connecting to the other 2 ports. I added support for more then 4 serial ports to the kernel and I added some setserial lines to /etc/rc.boot/0setserial but it still doesn't seem to work. When I boot Linux I get a message stating:
Serial driver version 4.27 with MANY_PORTS SHARE_IRQ enabled ttyS00 at 0x03f8 (irq = 4) is a 16550A ttyS01 at 0x02f8 (irq = 3) is a 16550A ttyS02 at 0x03e8 (irq = 4) is a 16550A ttyS03 at 0x02e8 (irq = 3) is a 16550A Should I do anything special to use the next 2 serial ports? I couldn't find anything in the serial-HOWTO.
