I have checked the bios... and it is odd that for the two ports there are three settings, one disabled, and then one for IRQ4, IO0x03e8 and another for IRQ3, IO0x02e8. And the BIOS lets you know when you have set the serial port up conflicting. But I did check, and both are on!
