Oz, I am running into this very issue with hardware!
This is the config of the Dell Precision 610 Workstation I have at work. I saw the reply Jim Foltz made to the question, but am in the catch 22 situation where I cannot boot a system to compile the needed kernel! If you are able to do this, is it possible for you to make your working kernel images available via FTP or HTTP? Any assistance is appreciated much.
