I use 'runscript' from the minicom package. You can install minicom, save 'runscript' to a save place, and the un-install minicom if HD space is a problem. My recovery disk has runscript on it as my pppd dialer. (I could not make expect redial fast enough for my likeing) -- Stephen Gregory
